Artist Highlight – Andrea Joseph

Whilst surfing the net I stumbled upon a blog by this artist. She lives in Britain and draws stuff of the everyday. I was really taken by her work and I think this will eventually become a project that we will do in school. She works mainly in sketchbooks or on scrap paper and uses ink pens to draw. I think she may use pencil to sketch out her ideas first.

Personal Study by Luke Carmichael Year 7

This collage was produced over several days and took a great deal of effort! Well done Luke.

St. Francis – Tonal Drawings

These were produced using charcoal and involved drawing in perspective and learning about tonal shading. I am really impressed with the quality of the work from everyone but could only include these five pictures in this post.

Homework from Robyn Bradnock

This is a personal study collage produced by Robyn for Ms Caulwell’s lesson. It is A2 in size and uses denim and other materials. We thought it was really good.

Well Done!
